DR NEHA TANNA
MBBS, MRCGP, Dip Child Health, MBA

GP / Health Tech

Dr Neha Tanna qualified from Imperial College Hospitals University in 2005 and went on to work in General Practice. She has 10 years of private practice experience. Whilst primarily being a doctor, her aptitude for progress took her to completing an MBA at London Business School which has allowed her to flourish not only in the medical world but also as a notable advisor within the Healthtech industry. Her voice in the industry has led to chief operating partner status and she brings a wealth of knowledge to allowing The Doctor's Lounge to provide the fabulous service we all expect. Neha has a particular interest in Musculoskeletal medicine and Children’s Health and brings a wealth of knowledge in both areas which have been invaluable to clinic. Personally, Neha spends her time playing tennis at Moor Park, yoga and has a passion for wildlife conservation.

DR SERMED MEZHER
MBChB, MRCGP, Masters of 
Research of Clinical Sciences

Dr Sermed Mezher qualified from the University of Manchester with Honours and a Master of Medical Research degree after being granted the Kidney Research UK Fellowship Award for his research. This allowed him to secure an Academic Foundation Programme (AFP) post where his work on NHS Change Management was published in the Leadership branch of the British Medical Journal (BMJ Leader). Throughout his training his passion for education led him to begin posting educational content where he has amassed over 750,000 followers of his inspirational educational content, featured in news outlets such as The Guardian and The New York Post. His oral presentations include invitations to the Society of British Neurosurgeons meetings and at Kidney Research UK on helping to improve early identification of disease. Regardless of his experience, medicine is a craft that Dr Sermed Mezher believes must be maintained with lifelong learning which he has a commitment to continue.

DR NIK CHOPRA 
MBBS, MRCS, MRCGP, BSc, PgDip Urology

GP and Founder

Dr Nik Chopra qualified from University College London medical school and became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons London in 2012. After gaining medical and surgical experience in both Oxford and Sydney, Australia he returned to train as a Urologist at The Royal Marsden Hospital, University College London Hospital, and St George’s University Hospital.  Whilst he trained in all aspects of Urology both male and female he took a particular interest in Prostate disease and Men’s Health. ​ Nik then moved into General Practice and kept a special interest on Men’s Health and Urology and continues to speak at national level conferences including both PULSE and MIMS to fellow primary care clinicians and has been heavily involved in educating programmes for primary care physicians.  He has sat on expert panels and developed guidance for managing nocturia, publishing in the Trends In Urology Journal and has been part of a number of medical advisory boards developing new prostate cancer diagnostics and other treatments.   He has produced educational videos and learning aids in the process and strives to share his expert knowledge in the field.  He is currently the Education Secretary for the Primary Care Urological Society providing a platform and forum for healthcare staff to learn and understand more about the world of Urology ​ ​ ​ CURRENT POSITIONS ​ - Founder and GP of The Doctor's Lounge - NHS GP - Primary Care Urology Society - Education Secretary​ ​ ​ ​ RECENT PUBLICATIONS/LECTURES ​ 2019 Masterclass in Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms 2019 PULSE Live (Leeds) 2019 MIMS Learning Live (Leeds) 2018 PULSE Live (Newcastle) 2017 PULSE Live (Glasgow)
